BackgroundCeltic routes. Grew up in Edinburgh and studied History at the beautiful Glasgow University were I fell in love with surfing. Leading me to moving to Newquay to surf for a summer before I started working at the Apple store in Glasgow.
At the start of last year, after seven years of living and working in the music industry in London, I moved back to Scotland. My love of the outdoors was a big reason to move back to this beautiful country with the highlands and islands at our doorstep. Being back in Scotland has given me a chance to get back into surfing and appreciate the beauty of nature. In 2020 I decide to focus on what I love, making things look and sound beautiful. I worked on growing my podcast and learning UX/UI Design. |
CurrentlyI recently completed am eight-week UX/UI Design course at Experience Haus. One of the major advantages of Experience Haus over other providers was the live project which allowed us to apply our newly-learnt skills to a real jobs.
I was part of a remote class of 12, where we worked in teams of 3 on a live client brief. I loved collaborating in a team, bouncing ideas off one another to learn the “perfect” process and make mistake together to learn from. We carried out user research interviews, competitor analysis, creating personas, and used task analysis, user stories and problem statements to better understand the needs of the user. Then we focused on our individual work when we moved into ideation, sketches, wireframes, protpyopes, user testing and presented our findings and prototypes to the CEO and key stakeholders of the startup. |
Oh hey!I'm keen to broaden my UX/UI Design experience and skillset and would very much welcome the opportunity to work in different areas of the creative and digital industry.

Testimonials.
Edd Blower Head of Marketing (RCA Records) at Sony I was lucky to work with Gabi for all her time at Vevo. She is always very enthusiastic, proactive and clear when communicating with the broad teams we worked with. In addition, she was always be thinking many steps ahead when collaborating with myself, artists and managers - as we were essentially the 'clients' - this made working with her a joy.

Anya Du Suazy Head of Audience & Engagement (Parlophone Music) at Warner Music Group I’ve worked with Gabi numerous times over the past 4 years during my time at Sony Music and Warner Music. She’s enthusiastic, creative and professional. Having booked a number of my artists for original shoots with vevo I found working closely with her on these projects seamless and also very enjoyable - not always the case when working with talent! Having also appeared on Gabi’s podcast series, I have first hand experience seeing her production skills which are incredibly impressive. I would recommend her highly! |
